“A small rug breaks the harmony and makes a room look messy,” explains Simón. Therefore, we must make sure that it is always “large enough for the main pieces of furniture to rest on it.” In this way, cohesion between the elements will be guaranteed.
A rug in the bedroom is perfect to enhance that feeling of pleasant seclusion that helps to enhance rest and comfort. However, we must be clear about where and in what way exactly we should place it.
First of all, the rug must protrudenecessary measures to enhance that visual balance we are looking for. In addition, the expert explains, the rug in the bedroom “creates a path to rest your feet on when you get up, which makes it much warmer.”

In the dining room
In the event that our rug is reserved for the dining room space, it will have to be resting on the floor, protruding about “60 or 80 centimeters on each side of the table”.
The trick to check that we have done it correctly is that, when we get up from the chairs, they are still completely inside the carpet. Something that will give a pleasant feeling of spaciousness and will prevent “the carpet from floating”, explains the expert.
